Kris Holm Unicycles is happy to announce the second annual Evolution of Balance Award! This grant is awarded to a team proposing a difficult, creative, and remote mountain unicycling adventure somewhere in the world. It includes:
- CDN$1700
- One KH unicycle (singlespeed)
- One set of KH gloves and pads
- Up to three additional KH unicycles at wholesale cost. Applications are due March 31, 2009 and the award will be announced April 30, 2009. Download the application form here! Mountain unicycling might seem like one of the most unlikely things you could do. Perhaps it is. But it depends on your perspective. It’s only about as unlikely as whacking a ball into a distant hole, or people tackling you as you run down a field, or sliding down snow on sticks. At second glance, maybe there is something to this sport - something that has made several hundred thousand people take it up in the last few years.

In 2008 KHU will offer the Evolution of Balance Award.
This grant will be provided annually to a team proposing a difficult, creative, and remote mountain unicycling adventure somewhere in the world.
The award is application-based and will be awarded on April 1 next year. The deadline for application submission is February 29. For more info and to download a grant application form, visit www.krisholm.com/grants.
