When did you start unicycling and why:

I started unicycling in the winter of 2005 because a few of my friends learned. When I first saw them “trying” to ride a unicycle, I had no intentions of ever trying it. It looked impossible, but after one attempt I was hooked. I’ve been riding ever since and I love every minute.

Why do you like to ride:

I don’t like to ride, I love to ride. I love to unicycle because it makes me happy. I love landing a new trick that I’ve spent hours practicing. I absolutely love the friends I’ve made. I love summer days at NAUCC (North American Unicycling Convention and Championships). I love teaching others to unicycle and giving tips on how to land tricks. I love traveling around the world competing. If you haven’t noticed, I really love unicycling.

Other Interests:

I am a proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am interested in filming and editing videos, especially unicycle videos. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I’ve played basketball my entire life and can’t say no to a pickup game. I love traveling and visiting new places. I’m always up to try something new or do something crazy. I’m super easy going and love to make new friends.

Any Words of wisdom:

I’m a big believer in goal setting. Write down a list of tricks you want to land, and don’t let anything get in your way of landing them.
